Welcome to my Wargaming WIKI.

The art Wargaming WWII in a tiny scale

My wiki is in no way associated with http://www.tinywars.com another miniature figures site. but please feel free to have a look at this site, It contains some nicely painted miniatures.

Wargaming is like a drug and Im hooked and have been since I was 6 years old.

As well as a gamer and painter im a designer, having produced dozens of lovely miniatures for Pendrakens WWII range.

I hope to post many pics of my models, other manufacturers models, hints and tips and game reports of some   of  my 10mm  wargames.

Keep popping in and have a browse...

All qiuet at the moment. look out for some new releases from Pendraken http://www.pendraken.co.uk/ that Ive designed for their WWII range.

For a change recently got some 6mm Wars of the Roses from Baccus. https://www.baccus6mm.com/ I must say I was particularly impressed with the detail in these lovely little figs. The idea at the moment is to have some games using Warmaster Ancients, or possibly later Field fo Glory. http://www.fieldofglory.com/catalogue/4.html

Unfortunately theres not a lot round regarding lists for the WOTR for Warmaster but I hope to put some lists up soon Ive been developing myself. ill put some pics up of the figures too. i do hope they have plans to expand their medieval range...

Found some nice WOTR flags. go here  http://www.vexillia.ltd.uk/news.html and click on the Wars of the Roses free flags. Download and reduce to 33% using paint or similar and some instant 6mm flags.

More Dragon Plastics...

I just love these Panzercorps ranges. true 144th plastic kits with about 6 to 12 parts including etched brass parts for the modeller to have a go with. these work out at about £2.00 per model, well worth it.

Some of the older kits tend to be in a softer plastic which is best glued using super glue, but later kits starting with the stug models are a harder plastic and much better quality, including seperate tracks !

This early version tiger I for late 42 is from the newest WWII releases. All models are supplies with ample transfers.

From the stug releases this F8 version for late 42.

Check here for model lists .http://www.dragonmodelsusa.com/dmlusa/prodsearch.asp?txtSearch=Panzer+Korps+&btnSearch=Search

Dragon Marder III...

As part of my German forces been doing some Marders from Panzercorps. These are 144th plastic kits, 2 to a box and great value. I thought Id try a different painting style than that Id used on other models and based my method on a style of painting done by a gentleman called 'EL Basser'.

Have a look at his work here if you are not familiar..   http://www.geocities.jp/el_basser/1984-196.htm

The idea is that the model appears well used and battleworn rather than a prestine 'MODEL' looking model.

The finished model is here. The base is yet to be finished but Im quite taken by the finish and like the effect.

Battle report

Adding a first battle report, check side bar....

Thanks to all that I saw and had a chat with at the York show. You were all spending lots of money and most of it on Pendraken WWII stuff.

Ive now passed on more US Para greens to Dave, which means that the full listings of figures for the range should be available by the end of March. For all those going to Triples we hope to have them there. Fone first to make sure your not disappointed.

New Pendraken WWII releases..

More US stuff is now finished, dave has the US 50cal and 4.2 inch Mortar available but not yet on his site. The US army packs now contain more re mastered figures to update an old collection.

The New 4.2 inch Mortar, the model has been done as for combat with sandbags in place to hold Mortar down.

Previously

A new year and a new project. A new army for Biltzkreig Commander ( BKC ).

Ive opted for a German Grenadier regimental force based around the Ardennes offensive and in particular, I also want to historically use some rarer  german  weapons used in this offensive. Notably the FlammHetzer ...... and an odd JagdTiger.

The work has already started with the first Battalion well on its way and some initial pics of the vehicles involved. Ill go into the army in more detail in a seperate section with a full breakdown of unit types etc later, but for now some pics ....

Flammhetzer S12 in 144th. A Dragon kit available prepainted, but I repainted this one to fit into my force. 20 vehicles were made avaiable for the Ardennes offensive.

First few pics added to photos section. A couple of my 12mm models. Have also added some pics of new Pendraken greens.

Links section now added along with some recent greens for Pendraken.

 New Pendraken WWII releases..

 Code GR181  price £1.75 each.

Well done Brian on this one, been waiting for a while.... and as you can see based all ready for some BKC action.
