The Battle for the Seelow heights
April 16th, 1945 and the Russian forces across the Vistula start the massive attack that was Operation Berlin. deployed on the Seelow heights were the waiting German forces.
Units of the Russian 29th Guards rifle Corps have been ordered against elements of the 20th Panzer grenadier Division defending the Seelow heights and beyond the town itself.
The battle is to fought using the BlitzKreig commander rules with a few ammendments specific to the battle. the terrain in front of the German positions is boggy, wet marshland, offering movement restrictions to the Russians. the Germans occupy hard defensive positions of bunkers and trenches.
